Merethe Soltvedt has been doing music one way or another since.. always.. ”songs and random melodies have just fallen out of my mouth for as long as I can remember, on the school bus, in class, standing in line at the grocery store etc...”

 

She recently attained her Artist Visa in the United States, which allows her to start anew and take her carreer to the next level.

 

Merethe is a singer first, but plays guitar and piano too. She´s also a songwriter, a songwriting coach, and a session vocalist.

 

Her journey from the little island Askøy, outside of Bergen in Norway, to the big city of Los Angeles, California has been a long and winding road, but according to her it´s been well worth the time and effort!!

 

June 14th 2013 Merethe Soltvedt performed in The Walt Disney Concert Hall with a full orchestra and choir when Two Steps From Hell had their first Live Concert.

She is also featured on over a dozen albums released by Two Steps From Hell and Thomas Bergersen.

Merethe sings a cover version of the Guns n Roses song Welcome to the Jungle in a TV Spot for the new Liam Neeson movie RUN ALL NIGHT (see News), putting her voice in living rooms all over America. It´s from a new collaboration between Soltvedt and Ghostwriter. They will be releasing an album or two this year.
